Quality education teaches you the essentials and then gives you plenty of room to experiment. Through academic programs grounded in the liberal arts, you will learn practical skills in the classroom- like how to think for yourself, solve problems analytically, write and speak effectively, and interact with people from a broad range of backgrounds and cultures.
You will have 26 dynamic undergraduate programs and 13 graduate program from which to choose- including nursing, education, sports administration, engineering, tourism and hospitality management, international business, management & accounting, and forensic science. We will help you select the major that fits your interests, abilities, and ambitions. You will be assigned an academic advisor who will help ensure you are always on the right track.
Our Academic Enhancement Center will prepare you for academic work at the college level and assist you in developing basic skills in writing, reading, mathematics, and English as a Second Language (ESL). You will have access to free individualized counseling, tutoring, and placement-testing services. You can also participate in workshops on library usage, note-taking, and study strategies, and exam preparation.
Throughout campus you will feel a strong spiritual presence- even in the classroom. Because diversity extends to religious beliefs and because we are a Catholic institution, all students take classes in ethics, philosophy, and religion so they can develop an understanding and appreciation of all faiths.
