Associate Professor of Accounting
Professor Lloyd Mitchell is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Gus Machado College of Business at St. Thomas University. Prof. Mitchell has served as a Faculty Advisor for the St. Thomas University Investment Club, and a board member of NAF Academy of Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Florida and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Professor Mitchell has extensive experience in Public Accounting and Corporate Accounting having worked as a controller and auditor. In addition, he has had financial oversite of over 10 international locations. His current teaching responsibilities include the areas of Cost and Managerial Accounting, Investments, Financial Management and Financial Accounting.
