Federalist Society

St. Thomas University College of Law

The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a community of students and legal scholars committed to serious reflection on the structure, limits, and moral foundations of the American constitutional order. Our chapter is dedicated to fostering rigorous, civil, and intellectually honest debate. We provide a forum where students, practitioners, judges, and scholars can engage deeply with questions of constitutional interpretation, textualism, original meaning, and the proper role of the judiciary. We reject shallow partisanship and instead pursue principled inquiry grounded in constitutional structure, historical understanding, and enduring moral truths. The Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application through its activities.
