St. Thomas University College of Law is approved by the Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar of the American Bar Association (ABA), 321 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60654, 312-988-6738. St. Thomas University School of Law has been fully accredited by the American Bar Association since 1988.

The College of Law is a member of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS). In 2001, the law school was admitted into the prestigious Association of American Law Schools (AALS). Admissions to this association is competitive and is attained through a rigorous applications process, site visits, and written reports. Upon our admission, the AALS complimented St. Thomas University College of Law on “its commitment to diversity in the student body, the faculty’s focus on excellence in teaching, the commendable facilities, the innovative library, and the notable spirit of camaraderie among the broader law school community.”
