Gianni Piantini

Gianni Piantini is a licensed Florida attorney who specializes in business immigration, representing individuals, employers, and corporate clients in U.S. immigration matters. She is an Associate Attorney at Melga Law PLLC, a business immigration law firm where she focuses on employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visas for a wide range of clients, including entertainers, athletes, educators, scientists, entrepreneurs, and investors.

Gianni graduated summa cum laude from St. Thomas University College of Law in May 2020, where she was the class valedictorian. Throughout her law school career, Gianni excelled in several areas of law school, earning multiple CALI Excellence awards and an Excellence in Intellectual Property Award. Gianni earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida International University in December 2016, where she graduated cum laude.

Gianni has had the distinction of serving as the Honorable Judge Fleur J. Lobree’s first judicial intern at the Third District Court of Appeal of Florida, and as a law clerk in the Narcotics Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in Miami.

In addition, she was an active member of numerous organizations. She served in an editorial role as the Senior Articles Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review, where she published an article on the Fourth Amendment and ICE workplace raids. Gianni also served as an Academic Success Program Fellow, President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society, Vice President of Pro Bono and Events of the Immigration Law Students Association, and Secretary of the Intellectual Property and Cyber Law Society.

Gianni joined the St. Thomas University College of Law as an Adjunct Professor teaching Legal Methods to 2Ls and 3Ls.
