Instructions on how to access Tax Notes Today Federal Online

Access is currently active for our subscription, www.taxnotes.com. Please note, the initial registration must be completed within the IP range(s) of the university (i.e., on the STU Campus). After the registration process has been completed, access to the website is available on and off campus. The registration steps are listed below:

Please follow these steps:

  1. Please go to www.taxnotes.com, and click SIGN IN.
  2. In the username field, please enter your school e-mail address. Click Next.
  3. On the next screen, please click on the blue “Register Here” link, which is under the
    following question: “New St. Thomas University Law Library User?”
  4. You’ll be taken to a Profile page. Enter your name and school e-mail address.
  5. Choose a password and enter it.
  6. When you’ve finished the Profile, click SAVE CHANGES.
  7. You’ll go to the Tax Notes website, where you can sign in with your username (your
    school e-mail address) and the password you chose.
