Collection Development & Acquisitions
The main responsibility of the Acquisitions Department is to acquire library materials to support all academic areas and the mission of the St. Thomas University library.
Library materials are selected by library liaisons and faculty to meet the needs of the academic community. The library acquires print and electronic books, DVDs, and electronic information resources via database subscriptions. Library materials are acquired as promptly as possible.
All members of the St. Thomas University community are encouraged to suggest materials for the library collection. For detailed information, please see the University Library Collection Development Policy. You may suggest resources using the following forms:
