The word “Catholic” means universal. At St. Thomas University we welcome people from all religious and humanistic traditions. Our students are offered a wide variety of opportunities to develop an appreciation of their personal worth, individual gifts and academic potential. Service programs, social organizations, campus ministry, and academic clubs all endeavor to assist in the development of students knowledgeable of self, rooted in faith, educated in mind, and compassionate in heart.
Student Driven
Students define our campus life. The Student Government Association, along with organizations such as the Campus Activity Board, strives to make STU a place that stimulates hearts and minds. Our student leaders gain hands-on experience as organizers and hosts for our campus residents as well as our commuter student population.
Community Conscious
Through collaborative development projects, St. Thomas University students are engaged in immersive service programs throughout Florida, and in Port-de-Paix, Haiti. Students have opportunities to go beyond classroom learning, and apply their newfound knowledge in ways that can positively transform the world.
