Miguel “Mike” Benito Fernandez, a leader in the healthcare industry in Miami, Florida, and parent of a St. Thomas Law student, has written a book entitled HUMBLED BY THE JOURNEY: Life Lessons for MyFamily… And Yours, which documents Mr. Fernandez’s 508-mile pilgrimage last year along El Camino de Santiago from France through Spain, as well as his own life’s journey from a dirt road town in Cuba to the pinnacles of business success in the United States.
Mr. Fernandez will speak about his new book at St. Thomas Law’s Alex Hanna ’00 Legal Information Center at 12 noon on Thursday, January 22, 2015.
Books will be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the Early Childhood Initiative Foundation.
