Erika Brolley, Silvia Garcia, Rebecca Stone, and Pia Venegas represented STU Law at DCBA’s annual signature Bench and Bar at the start of the 2020 decade. This year the DCBA had the continued support of 16 voluntary bar associations and 17 sponsors. A remarkable networking opportunity for our student attendees.
The conference brought together fifteen individual presentations over four tailor-made sessions to give lawyers insight on the next decade in the practice of law. DCBA’s keynote Mike Whelan, author of “Lawyer Forward: Finding Your Place in the Future of Law,” shared the importance of a new model for legal practice built on principles of specialization and collaboration.
