Professor Keith Rizzardi earned an appointment from Commissioner Nicki Fried, head of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, to serve on her Florida Advisory Council on Climate and Energy. The council will advise the agency on modernizing energy and climate policies, diversifying energy sources, increasing energy efficiency and creating solutions for Florida’s energy and climate future.
Professor Rizzardi was appointed as the council’s water management representative.
