Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting
The BBA in Accounting provides our students with a strong foundation in financial reporting, auditing, taxation, and managerial accounting, preparing them for careers in corporate finance, public accounting, and beyond. With a focus on practical application, analytical skills, and industry standards, graduates are equipped to pursue CPA certification, financial leadership roles, or careers in business strategy and consulting.
Program Overview
The Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting is designed to provide students with theoretical foundations of accounting, and practical accounting techniques that are used in public and private organizations. The program provides an understanding of accounting functions, taxation, auditing, governmental and institutional accounting and income tax. In addition, the program focuses on skills in critical thinking, problem solving, math, and research and includes eight advanced accounting courses that, combined with the business curriculum, prepare graduates to sit for the CPA exam, subject to additional certification requirements in Florida.
