Professor Marie France Bertrand-Felix joined St. Thomas University in 2019. Professor Felix brings with her over 28 years of nursing experience which includes 17 Years of medical surgical as a Registered Nurse. In 2016, Professor Felix earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in education from the University of Phoenix. Her teaching career began at Florida Career College where she taught Clinical Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical/Surgical Nursing I and II, including clinical practices and care planning. Currently, Professor Felix teaches Foundations of Nursing Skills Lab, Health Assessment & Promotion with Skills Lab. Aside from her academic work, Professor Felix is a member of the Haitian American Nursing Association (H.A.N.A) and is currently a Visiting Health Nurse with American Providers caring for the veterans.
